Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of remedycoachinggroup.com (the "Service"), operated by RemedyCoachingLLC ("Remedy," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
2. What Remedy Is (and Isn't)
Remedy is a marketplace that connects sports coaches with clients (programs, teams, or organizations) seeking coaching-related consulting work. Remedy is not a party to any engagement, contract, or agreement between a coach and a client — we are not an employer, agent, or guarantor of either side. Any agreement about scope of work, payment, performance, or conduct of a coaching engagement is solely between the coach and the client.
3. Accounts
You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@remedycoachinggroup.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Coach Verification
Coaches may submit credentials (certifications, records, etc.) for review. A "Verified" badge reflects that Remedy has reviewed the materials a coach submitted — it is not a guarantee of accuracy, quality, or fitness for any particular engagement, and Remedy is not liable for a coach's misrepresentation of their own credentials.
5. Subscriptions and Payment
- Remedy offers a free plan and paid subscription plans (Professional, Elite), billed monthly.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel.
- You can cancel anytime; your plan remains active through the end of the current billing period.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
- We may change subscription pricing with notice; changes apply to future billing cycles.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit false or misleading information, including fabricated credentials
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to harass, defraud, or harm another user
- Attempt to circumvent the platform to avoid applicable fees, once such fees exist
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Scrape or harvest data from the Service without our written permission
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit (profile info, bios, posts, credentials). By submitting content, you grant Remedy a license to display it on the Service for the purpose of operating the marketplace (e.g., showing your public profile to other users).
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Remedy does not guarantee the accuracy of any user's profile, credentials, or postings, and does not guarantee any particular outcome from using the Service, including whether a coaching engagement will be completed successfully or paid on the terms the parties agreed to.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Remedy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, or from any dispute between a coach and a client. Remedy's total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Remedy harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
